Now, this hits me home. When I was so young (maybe late 18's to early 19's) I would come by to his webpage VGDC and take a look at his flash animations, he was the setting example of how sprite movies work, not only that, he was also a nice guy, as an example of putting my name in a tombstone for RoTMK 4 (which you need to zoom in of course), and also tagged me for one of his works which is so nice.
Perhaps one of the best things that he ever asked me is does the game Beyond Oasis (for genesis/megadrive) ever worth buying (for the wii's virtual console)? and I said "Yep, if you like Zelda, you should get that."
It's truly a sad day to all of us who know him to see him passed away like this, I wish my condolences to his wife and his lovely daughter, knowing that they lost a loving husband and an awesome father.
